Growing up in South Florida, I spent a lot of time around swamps and rivers. The serenity of these areas was at the same time shrouded in danger, as we kept our eyes peeled for alligators and snakes. The coastal marshes of Georgia and the Carolinas mesmerize me as well. I love finding the colors and painting the light as it rakes across these wetland areas.
